Our furniture graces some of the finest houses in England but we were particularly delighted to be asked to create this kitchen for Lord and Lady Bradford’s country home in Shropshire.

You may think that being President of the Master Chefs of Great Britain, a Committee Member of the Restaurant Association and proprietor of Porters English Restaurant in London's Covent Garden†, as well as raising four children would leave little time for entertaining at home. Our brief, however, was to create a spacious kitchen, which could cope with catering for large dinner parties as well as being the everyday hub of a busy home.

The detailing is simple, but classical, with turned pilasters and deeply moulded panelling topped with Kirkstone slate worksurfaces. The traditional cabinetry is given a contemporary edge by Gaggenau stainless steel cooking equipment.
